Elgin Watch Co., Elgin, Illinois, man's Mickey Mouse wrist watch, 13 jewels, battery powered ESA cal. 9154 "Dynotron" movement with lever escapement in a 14 karat, yellow gold, bright and matte finished case, baton marker metal dial with polychrome image of Mickey Mouse at the center, painted MIckey Mouse arms hands, 31mm x 36mm, 35.3g TW, with brown Corfam strap, c1975.
CONDITION:
CASE: A few very fine scratches, otherwise very good; Case back with fine scratches and a few case wrench scratches; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Specks of dust, otherwise very good. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Battery retaining strap and screws missing, otherwise very good. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Tested, will run with battery correctly positioned, battery retainer will need to be replaced to restore function. Strap with minor staining. A very nice example of a scarce, precious metal character watch that seems to have seen little use.
